 Our 1967 VW splitscreen Camper Van was especially imported from California so that we had as good an example as possible, it arrived in May 2005 and just days after arriving in this country we transported her down to Devon. Our initial plan was to buy a camper to use for fun days out and small trips away during the summer, but after getting her home we got straight on with a full restoration before our climate could undo 41 years of Californian sun bathing.
The restoration work involved a total bare metal re-spray in original colours and a new interior fitted by Jo.   The electrics and running gear have been overhauled and a new engine fitted.       This 41 year old vehicle needed no welding and has never been welded in the past.

Our 1956VW splitscreen Panel Van was imported from Florida to the UK about 2 years ago, we purchased the van from the hasting's area in November 06 only to discover that it needed much work!  The restoration work involved  some panel replacement all of which was done to a very high standard with all of the parts being sourced by ourselves direct from Germany, Columbia and of Course the UK. Then a total bare metal re-spray in original colours a new interior fitted by Jo.   The electrics and running gear have been totally replaced and all new engine ancillaries fitted. This 52 year old vehicle now runs on lowered suspension for that cool ride height and also has all new disc brakes etc.....Oh yeah and it has a surfboard bar and a Vibe sound system installed. To keep with the Bar theme and the 50's styling it has been signwritten by a traditional sign writer, no stick on graphics here!

We offer several different packages for your wedding, from a straight forward pickup and drop at the church or registery office, to a full days hire taking up the whole day right through to the evening reception. In the case of the latter we charge for the whole day rather than an hourly rate.   There is no extra charge for fuel within a 50 mile radius, after which there will be a small charge.

Our rates are competitive and we are easy going and flexible, we will stay for as long as needed without adding the usual pressure that wedding photographers often find themselves under when it comes to the vehicle shot's as we are more than happy for the bride and groom to be photographed in and around the van.

After the ceremony we provide a complimentary bottle of bubbly which can be enjoyed in the van whilst travelling to the reception or as others have done on the way to a local beauty spot for more pictures. Some beer's are also provided for the guests who travel in the '56 Highway Bar "The Lounge" after all you are supposed to be enjoying yourselves.

We do not wear chauffeur uniforms but do dress appropriately for the day, we will accommodate your wishes as closely as possible and can coordinate with you regarding the colours of the ribbons or you can even provide your own if you prefer. 

We guarantee that you will have a ride and service that will only add to the enjoyment of your big day.  The vans are fitted with up to date sound systems so you can even provide your favourite music to be played on the journey.  Please feel free ask us anything, and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.   We look forward to providing you with the perfect package for the day.
